Lord of the Rings: Boromir Plush

And there you have it.

Becky presents Boromir!! You have been waiting. I have been waiting. He has been waiting. Now he's finished!! Just over two months after I started.

I couldn't even deal with trying to photograph and cram in all the detail, so I picked some bits, though I'll probably do a layer by layer picture for him later so you can see all the clothing that's hidden...

ZOOM TWICE FOR A CLOSER LOOK

What Boromir has:

- Hand-drawn and painted face to mildly resemble Sean Bean, with beard and eyebrows
- Carefully folded, stitched, and otherwise attached hair with loose strands
- Undershirt with leatherette detailing and suede cord fastening (not pictured)
- Double layered pants with suede cord fastening (not pictured)
- Wrinkled boots with rubber soles
- Chainmail shirt (took approximately 750 jump rings and two pairs of pliers to make him that shirt, and you can only see a slither of the sleeves...) with suede cord fastening.
- Fully lined red tunic with gold embroidery, gold beading detail and hand-crafted buttons (buttons not shown)
- Fully lined black leatherette coat with ribbon detailing and hand-sculpted catches with carvings of the White Tree of Gondor
- Vambraces with cord tied padding, featuring the White Tree of Gondor and individually cut and stuck petals/leaves/whatever they are, detailing.
- Hand-sculpted and painted sword with grip detailing, sheath and decorated belt
- Hand-sculpted Horn of Gondor with hand-made circular braid cord
- Shield with bolt and battle scar detailing and decorated strap

Did I miss anything?

He's approximately 11 inches tall, and entirely hand-made and hand-sewn. He's my baby.
